Community Guidelines
Last updated: 2026-05-18
BagLog works because people treat each other decently. These rules apply to profiles, items, photos, and chat messages.
Be respectful
- No harassment, hate speech, slurs, threats, or intimidation.
- No discrimination based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, disability, or nationality.
- No sexual content, nudity, or sexually suggestive messages.
Be honest
- Photos must show the actual item you are offering.
- Condition, size, and trade notes must be accurate.
- No impersonation, fake accounts, or stolen photos.
Respect people's privacy
- Do not attempt to determine another user's exact location, accommodation, travel route, or real-world identity without their consent.
- BagLog shows only an approximate area — treat it that way.
- Do not share another user's personal data anywhere.
No ban evasion
Creating new accounts to evade suspensions, bans, blocks, or other safety restrictions is prohibited and will lead to removal of the new account.
Stay on the platform
- Chat happens in the App. Do not pressure people to move to other apps or share phone numbers, social handles, or addresses.
- Do not ask for or share government IDs, bank details, or payment account info.
- Respect the 3-message intro limit — it protects new contacts.
No prohibited items
See the Terms of Service §5 for the full list (weapons, drugs, hazardous materials, stolen goods, counterfeits, etc.). When in doubt, don't list it.
Automated moderation & human review
Chat messages are scanned automatically. Messages clearly offering drugs, weapons, hate speech, or sexual content involving minors are blocked before they're sent. Messages that share phone numbers, emails, or push people to other apps trigger a warning. Important moderation decisions — in particular suspensions and permanent removals — are reviewed by a person before becoming permanent. Automated moderation is not perfect — please still report anything you see.
Use reports honestly
False, malicious, or weaponised reports may themselves result in account action. Report what actually happened; our team checks every report.
How to report
Open any chat, tap the ⋮ menu and choose Report user. Add a short reason. You can also Block a person to make yourself invisible to them, or Mute them to stop notifications.
What happens after a report
We review reports and may warn, suspend, or permanently remove accounts. Severe violations (threats, illegal items, content involving minors) lead to immediate removal and may be reported to authorities.
